Abstract

Novel (E)-ethyl 3-(dimethylamino)-2-(7,9-diphenyl-7H-pyrazolo[4,3-e][1,2,4]triazolo[1,5-c]pyrimidin-2-yl)acrylate (3A), was prepared via condensation of ethyl (1,3-diphenyl-1H-pyrazolo[4,3-e][1,2,4]triazolo[1,5-c] pyrimidin-5-yl)acetate (1) and dimethylformamide-dimethylacetal under reflux. The structure of the synthesized compound was assigned on the basis of elemental analysis, IR, H-1 NMR and mass spectral data.
