In the title hydrazone derivative, C15H13ClN2O2, the dihedral angle between the benzene rings is 2.36 (2)degrees. An intramolecular N-H...O hydrogen bond is present. In the crystal, N-H...O and C-H...O hydrogen bonds link the molecules into chains running parallel to the b axis.
