The analysing power and differential cross sections of the elastic scattering of He-3 by Y-89, Zr-90, Zr-91, Pb-207, P-208 and Bi-209 have been measured at E(He) = 33.3 MeV using a polarized He-3 beam. The elastic scattering has been successfully described by phenomenological and ''folding'' optical-model potentials based on the 3MY nucleon-nucleon interaction. The mass dependence of the spin-orbit part of the optical potential is discussed.
