In this paper, we present the estimation of unknown parameters for linear exponential distribution (LED). The methods of estimation are maximum likelihood estimation (MLE), the method of moment estimation (MME), L-moments, and TL-moments with different trimming. Also, we introduce a numerical example to make a comparison between all these methods using the mean square errors (MSEs).
