Abstract
The population of this research includes the headquarters staff of the Agricultural Bank with bachelor's degree or higher in Tehran which amounted to 420 persons. In order to collect data for this study Spritz Psychological Empowerment Questionnaire (PEQ) has been used and to assess the leadership styles, Multifactor Leadership Questionnaire (MLQ) and also to assess the innovative behavior, counter innovative behavior questionnaire have been used. Based on the results of data analysis of the present study there is a significant relationship between transformational leadership with all aspects of staff psychological empowerment. Also according to the results we can see that there is a significant relationship between transactional leadership styles with aspects of staff psychological empowerment.
