Abstract

Geology Geosciences, Multidisciplinary Physical Sciences Science & Technology
The re-examination of data accumulated during the last few years on Ancient Quaternary series from the Orce region and the recent discovery of the site of Fuentenueva 3 now allow us to give a complete chart of the stratigraphic sequence in this zone and also to assert the presence of lithic artefacts during the Lower Pleistocene in the South of the Iberian Peninsula.
