A study was made of the effects of AMO-1618 on the endogenous gibberellin (GA) levels and stem, leaf, and root growth of Phaseolus coccineus seedlings. The data establishes that some of the effects of AMO-1618 on the growth of Phaseolus seedlings are mediated by factors other than an inhibition of GA biosynthesis.
