Abstract

We discuss two separate issues. The first is to examine whether the fusion cross section can resolve debates on the structure of Ge isotopes. The second is to propose the effect of anti-symmetrization as an origin of the high energy problem of fusion reactions, i.e. the problem that the double folding potential overestimates the fusion cross section at energies above the Coulomb barrier.
