Electromagneto-thermoelastic waves Green and Naghdi parameter Harmonically varying temperature
The one-dimensional magneto-thermoelastic problem without energy dissipation of a perfect infinitely long annular cylinder with axial uniform magnetic field subjected to harmonically varying temperature is solved. The closed form solutions for the distributions of displacement, temperature, and stresses are obtained analytically in non-dimensional forms. The numerical results are displayed graphically to illustratete the problem and discuss the effect of Green and Naghdi parameter.
