Abstract
The silver oxide nanoparticle was successfully synthesized using floral waste by simple one pot, cost effective method. The complete formation of silver oxide nanoparticles was characterized by UV-spec, FT-IR, powder XRD. The morphological structure of synthesized Ag2O NPs was confirmation by FE-SEM. The biofilm inhibition and biofilm metabolic assay results were confirmed that the synthesized Ag2O NPs very effective against biofilm formation. In addition, exopolysaccharide and hydrophobicity degradation assays were supported to biofilm inhibition at 250 mu g/mL concentration. In addition, the architectural and extracellular damages of K. pneumoniae were proved by CLSM and SEM. Finally, the reported hemolytic activity effect of synthesized Ag2O NPs shown at very low compared with CLSI guidelines, this might be due to the presence of the polyphenols of floral waste extract. Conclusively, the synthesized Ag2O NPs was eco-friendly nature and promising anti-biofilm agent against K. pneumoniae
