Abstract
Uncontrollable usage of gasoline products has accompanied by 5a very high rise in transportation sector causing globalization and contributing to the economy. Although this sector is growing quickly and providing benefits, it has some negative impact to the environment. Non-edible feedstock is being focussed for bio-diesel production, and researchers have introduced different non-edible oils and its influence on the IC engines. Calophyllum inophyllum is proved as one of the promising alternative fuels for future generation. In the current study, the influence of variation in IT 33 degrees, 28 degrees, 23 degrees and 18 degrees and effect of vibration over engine performance, combustion and emissions are examined. Investigation involves blends of B10, B20 and B30 with the hydrogen supply of 5 lpm, 10 lpm and 15 lpm at a standard speed of 1500 rpm, CR 17.5, IOP 200 bar. In overall experiment, the engine performance and combustion parameters were enhanced, at 28 degree IT, with a biofuel of B20 + 10 lpm of hydrogen when compared with all other combinations considered in the experimentation. Simultaneously found that vibrations and emissions were lower for B20 + 10 lpm of hydrogen flow at 28 degree IT.
