Abstract
At present, strenuous efforts are being made to enhance the TiO2 photocatalyst by doping it with Sn. However, there is still scarcity in the reports on the synthesis of a superior TiO2 photocatalyst in an efficient and simple manner. Therefore, Sn ((0-5%)) doped TiO2 photocatalyst for low-cost photocatalysis and free additive were successfully fabricated through a facile method. The obtained nanomaterials were calcined at 300 degrees C for 2h and characterized using X-ray diffraction (XRD), Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM), Fourier Transform Infrared spectroscopy (FTIR), and Energy Dispersive Spectrometer (EDS). The findings demonstrated that, the annealed Sn doped TiO2 has a good crystallinity and moderated adsorption capacity as well as a superior photocatalysis competence for degradation of Indigo Carmine (IC) dye.
