Abstract
A novel nanocomposite based sensor was fabricated for NH3 gas sensing in using hydrothermal and post calcination method. The composition, morphological, crystallinity and electrochemical properties of the nanocomposites were carried out using corresponding analytical technique. The sensing performances were carried out with several sensing parameters such as sensor response, repeatability, stability, resistance variation and selectivity. The sensor exhibited the excellent sensitivity and its response to 100 ppm NH3 was 206.15, and it has relatively short response and recovery time of 24 s and 22 s for 100 ppm NH3, respectively. The sensor also exhibited excellent selectivity, good reproducibility and perfect response-concentration linearity to NH3 at room temperature. (C) 2020 Elsevier B.V. All rights reserved.
