• Duodenocolic fistula is an infrequent surgical condition. • Early diagnosis and intervention are the cornerstones of treatment. • Duodenocolic fistula patients are ill because of malnutrition, malabsorption, and dehydration. • Regardless of the cause of the fistula, surgery is the only treatment.
