Abstract
Group A beta-haemolytic streptococci are usually associated with skin infections and pharyngitis. Rarely they may cause serious infections like septicaemia or meningitis. We describe an infant who presented with meningitis caused by Group A beta-haemolytic streptococci and had serious complications.
