Abstract
It is hard to control radiation especially if it is chargeless such as gamma rays. The radiation shielding is expressed in terms of some radiological parameters such as LAC, HVL, TVL, mfp, Z(eff), N-eff, and C-eff. In this study, the gamma ray shielding properties of hydroxyapatite (HAp) composites have been obtained and the effect of CeO2 on the shielding properties has also been investigated.
