This work addresses a variety of Schrodinger equations with logarithmic nonlinearity, with and without an attenuation term. We show that the stationary and the time-dependent logarithmic models give Gaussian soliton solutions, or simply Gaussons, which are characterized by no soliton radiation, and propagate through dispersion-managed optical fibers. We examine the physical structures, especially the amplitude and width of the Gaussons which we will derive.
