Abstract
In this study, we introduce a new compounded model called the complementary Bell-Weibull model and use it to address the problem of a group acceptance sampling plan predicted on a truncated life test. The median lifespan is used as a quality index to obtain the design constraints, namely sample size and approval number, under a predefined consumers risk and test termination period. Additionally, two real data applications are presented, and unknown parameters are estimated using the maximum likelihood approach.
