Abstract
Heat transfer analysis of a liquid Film in a permeable medium under the effect of thermal radiation over an stretching sheet is investigated. The liquid film of a non-Newtonian micropolar fluid is considered with the addition of microrotation field of velocity. This rotation actually happens due to the very small size of the particles in the micropolar liquid and in the recent literature these particles are known as nano-particles. The similarity variables have been used to transform the governing equations into a set of nonlinear differential equations with transformed boundary conditions. The concentration of this work is mainly focused on the variation of film thickness under the influence of embedded parameters. The resulting problem is solved for analytic solution via Homotopy Analysis Method (HAM). For the sake of comparison, the numerical solutions are also obtained by using the ND-Solve method. This comparison of analytical and numerical solutions is shown in graphs and tables. The solutions obtained for the velocity, microrotation and temperature are illustrated graphically for various material parameters of interest
