Abstract
Merit of employing turbulator within a tube was scrutinized not only in view of convective flow but also in term of exergy drop. Inclusion of CuO with concentration lower than 0.05 lets us to consider single phase technique and turbulent modeling was validated by comparing data with empirical correlations. Install of tapes makes the intensity of flow increases and contact of nano powders with solid surface increases which provide greater pressure drop while Nu enhances with impose of such device. Thinner boundary layer can offer lower temperature of domain and this observation can be occurred when grater values of b and Re have been selected. Higher b offers greater impact of Re while augment of Re provides lower impact of b. Exergy drop faces 5.19% reduction with rise of b from 5 to 10 when highest inlet velocity employed. At b = 5, Xd for Re = 5000 is 9.87 time greater than those of Re = 15,000. When Re = 5000, Darcy factor for b = 15 is 2.04 time greater that of b = 5. At b = 15, growth of inlet velocity offers 32.47% reduction in Darcy factor.
