Abstract
The average structure of the incommensurate composite crystal Sr1 145 TiS3 was studied by means of high-resolution transmission electron microscopy. With the comparison of structure model it is shown how the high-resolution image directly reveals the common projection of atom rows with remarkable displacive modulation.
