Abstract
The new Kudryashov's approach obtains highly dispersive bright and singular optical solitons to the governing nonlinear Schrödinger's equation in absence of self–phase modulation. The derived bright soliton solution is applied to compute the conserved quantities from their densities obtained by the application of multipliers approach.
•The nonlinear Schrödinger's equation is considered.•Highly dispersive bright and singular optical solitons are reported.•Power, linear momentum and Hamiltonian conserved quantities are obtained.
