Abstract
The prime intention here in this investigation is to report the influences of Brownian diffusion and thermophoresis in stagnation point flow towards a nonlinear stretching surface. Magnetohydrodynamic (MHD) third grade fluid is considered. Consideration of non-uniform heat generation/absorption characterizes the heat transfer process. Homotopy algorithm is adopted for local similar solution of highly nonlinear problems. Characteristics of material parameters, Hartman number, ratio of rate constants, thermophoresis parameter, heat generation/absorption parameter, Prandtl number, Brownian diffusion parameter and Schmidt number on the velocity, temperature, nanoparticles concentration, surface drag force and Nusselt and Sherwood numbers are addressed via graphs and tables. The results established here disclose that the velocity distribution decays via larger Hartman number. Moreover an increment in Brownian diffusion and thermophoresis variables cause an enhancement in temperature distribution whereas opposite scenario is noticed for these aspects for nanoparticle concentration.
