Abstract
We report that in the above paper, we did not report the source of the data. This omission however, does not affect the understanding of the data, its analysis and interpretation. We have corrected this omission in the 'Gravity data and processing' section. We also show that the figure caption for Fig. 9 and the actual figure in the paper were not compatible.
The "Gravity data and processing" section in Paragraph 1 was changed to "The gravity data used in this study, for domain A (Fig. 3), was acquired in 2003 by the National Mining Office (NMO) covering the northern area of Kairouan". The sampling interval is 1 km2, and the correct density is 2.4 g/cm(3). For domain B (Fig. 3), the data sets were obtained from the gravity survey by SEREPT Company in 1969. This data was used to produce a complete Bouguer gravity map of Dhifi (2000). The sampling interval is equal on average, to 1 ICin2 with the exception of the northern part which has an irregular sampling interval because of access difficulties (Dhifi, 2000). The data for domains A and B shown on the Bouguer gravity map were used to generate a grid of 66 rows and 32 columns by the universal kriging method. The interpretation of the entire data set must take note that the data have different sampling intervals and were collected using equipment's which can lead to crenel anomalies. The maps are shown in Fig. 3 with the boundary limits of the two domains. No supplementary processing was done in compiling the two data sets.
