Abstract
A novel CH(3)-functionalized mesoporous silica material (PTM) with nearly spherical morphology was synthesized by a one-step synthesis route using polymethylhydrosiloxane and tetraethoxylsilane in the presence of triblock copolymer P123 as structure-directing agent. Thus-obtained material possessed highly-ordered mesopore arrays and texture with highly CH(3)-functionalized surface. As compared with pure siliceous SBA-15, PTM showed the high performance for gas chromatographic separation of hexene isomers.
