Abstract
This study investigated the mediating role of owner/manager in the adoption of ICTs among Pakistani SMEs whiling using the organizational and technological context of T-O-E framework. Data were collected from owners/managers of registered SMEs in Lahore chamber of commerce and trade (N=223). The empirical results revealed the owner/manager role mediates the link between firm resources, firms size, complexity, compatibility, and SMEs decision to adopt ICTs. Findings of this study indicate that owner/managers can play a significant role in shaping the SMEs decision towards using ICTs. Furthermore, by taking such a decision, SMEs can survive and compete in a complex and ever-changing business environment. (c) 2019 INT TRANS J ENG MANAG SCI TECH.
