Abstract
The charge-transfer complexes formed during the reactions of Coumarin 6 (Coum 6) as donors with sigma-acceptors, like iodine and some pi-acceptors such as chloranilic acid (CLA) and picric acid (PA), have been investigated spectrophotometrically. The data obtained indicate the formation of the new CT-complexes with a general formula [(Coum 6)(acceptor)].
