The study aims to evaluate the role of AT1a receptors on heart function, and exercise tolerance in response to chronic exercise using AT1a receptor deletion (AT1aKO) mice. The results indicate that mice lacking AT1a receptor exhibited improved cardiac function without myocardium hypertrophy, higher exercise endurance, and enhanced metabolic response under chronic exercise stimulation.
