Abstract

The inclusion compound [Zn-2(dmf)(bdc)(S-lac)] 0.5FTA (FTA = phthalic anhydride) is obtained by keeping the crystals of porous homochiral metal-organic coordination polymer [Zn-2(dmf)(bdc)(S-lac)] DMF (DMF = N,N-dimethylformamide, H(2)bdc = terephthalic acid, S-H(2)lac = S-lactic acid) with excess phthalic anhydride at 100 degrees C. The crystal structure of the compound is determined by X-ray crystallography.
