Abstract
In this paper, we adopted the competing risks model considering that, the failure time is distributed with the Chen lifetime distribution, causes of failure are partially observed and the individuals are tested under type-I censoring scheme. The model parameters are estimated by maximum likelihood and Bayes estimations. Also, the asymptotic confidence intervals as well as credible interval are constructed. The proposed model is used to analyze two sets of data, real and simulate lifetime data sets for illustrative purposes.
