Abstract
In teaching French as a foreign language, the evaluation carried out by teachers serves the purpose of knowledge control, despite the need to consider language communication skills evaluation, an example of this is the DELF (Diploma in French studies).
This article aims at studying the actual use of internet information technology resources in educational practices to prepare for the (DELF) exam. The context of the study is teaching French as a foreign language at Yarmouk University in Jordan. We analyze the speech of designated teachers about the use of information and communications technologies (ICT). The results show that internet information technologies resources are not present in the majority of teaching practices by the designated teachers.
This limited utilization of internet information technology can be attributed to the lack of technical and educational training, and to other limitations relevant to the lake of development of pragmatic and social components essential to the development of language communication skills. The communication tasks do not represent a priority among activities of those teachers who decided to use the technological resources in their lectures.
