Abstract

Rodents
Injection of masoprocol subcutaneously, or intravenously, inhibited the PCA response in vivo. [...]inhibition of PI3K in BMMC, by either masoprocol or specific PI3K-siRNA, decreases several effector function, normally triggered during FceRI aggregation, such as degranulation, the release of proinflammatory cytokines (IL-6, IL-3, IL-1β and TNF α), as well as the arachidonic acid metabolites such as leukotrienes, and prostaglandins.
