Abstract
Interactions of di-(2-ethylhexyl) phthalate (DEHP) with xenobiotics are investigated. DEHP alters the duration of action of pentabarbitone and methaqualone in rats and mice respectively. A prolongation observed is significant, because people may be exposed to phthalate plasticizers and other xenobiotics simultaneously.
