Abstract
This article is about the modeling of the discharging process within the elliptic container in attendance of tree-shaped fins. The unsteady process has been simulated via Galerkin method involving adaptive grid. The existence of nanoparticles within the water creates NEPCM which makes discharging faster owing to stronger conduction. The geometry has fins which can expedite the movement of the solid front. Verification of current code with previous work indicated reasonable accuracy. As nanoparticles have been loaded, the cold regions can move within the domain quicker and time of freezing declines about 41.2 %. The influence of dispersing nanoparticles for the middle level of size of powders is greater than other sizes. The size of powders has an optimum value for diameter of 40 nm for this application. As size of powders changes from 30 to 40 nm, the completion time declines around 19.94 %.
