The inverse scattering problem for a boundary value problem of a Dirac equation with a discontinuous coefficient is studied. Both the solution of the considered eigenvalue equation is presented and its scattering function, which satisfies some properties, are also investigated. The discrete spectrum and the resolvent of the considered problem are given. The scattering data have been determined and hence the inverse scattering problem is formulated and completely solved.
