Abstract
In the preparation of Bismuth Telluride thin films are reported in the present work. Measurements of the structural and optical properties of Bi(2)Te(3)thin films were studied by X-ray diffraction, transmission (TEM) and scanning (SEM) electron microscope and electron diffraction techniques. Bi2Te3 thin films were "polycrystalline" Hexagonal form. The crystallite size was determine. The optical energy gap was evaluated. The study was carried out under vacuum., These properties has been reported to date. It was found from the optical properties studies that the type of transition of Bi2Te3 is an indirect transition.
