Abstract
In this paper, we have used the Landau theory to simulate the MCE in the Nd0.67Ba0.33MnO3 manganite. The expanding of the Gibb's free energy as a function of magnetization to the eighth order has given better results than the developing at sixth order in modeling the magnetic entropy change. The second-order phase magnetic transition of Nd0.67Ba0.33MnO3 sample has been proved. Under low magnetic fields, a phenomenological model has been used to determine some magnetic properties for the sample. Theoretical calculations have been compared to the experimental results.
