Abstract
Based on the importance of the understanding of the ferrite material properties at high temperature conditions, the present authors made re-investigation for pure and tin doped nickel ferrite materials at sintering temperature conditions such as 900 to 1200°C with 100 deg interval. Crystallographic phase stability and grain size effects of pure and doped test samples with respect to temperature are evaluated by powder X-ray diffractometer (PXRD). Surface morphology and magnetic phase stabilities are details are examined by the scanning electron microscope (SEM) and vibrating sample magnetometer (VSM). Fortunately, 1200 deg/C sintered pure and tin doped title material showed the good crystalline nature and high statured saturation magnetization compared to other samples due to the re-crystallization effect taking place by the impact of sintering temperature. The triangle correlation of structural – morphological- magnetic properties is discussed.
