Abstract
La2O3/LaFeO3 composite was successfully elaborated by spray pyrolysis technique. Different thin films were characterized by different techniques. The structural properties were investigated by X-ray diffraction and FTIR spectroscopy. All layers are mostly oriented according to (220) which is linked to cubic phase of La2O3 and mixed with a secondary phase La(FeO)(3). Furthermore, the morphology and the elemental composite of these composite were examined by the scanning electron microscopy and the energy dispersive X-ray spectroscopy. The effect of Fe doping on the wettability of elaborated films was discussed. Finally, the samples were tested for the photocatalysis methylene blue dye.
