Abstract
Mammary tuberculosis is one of the rare forms of extra-pulmonary tuberculosis that poses challenges in both diagnosis and management. Due to its radiological resemblance to breast malignancy, histological and pathological tests are required for a definitive diagnosis. Managing such rare condition could vary from medical therapy to complete mastectomy depending on the presenting case. We present a case of primary mammary tuberculosis in a postmenopausal Bahraini woman who presented with a painless breast mass.
