Abstract
Carpal hygromas were diagnosed in 2 she camels of 4 and 13 years of age. The lesions were unilateral in one camel and bilateral in the other animal. Brucella melitensis was isolated from the hygroma fluids of the 3 carpal lesions. All isolates were subjected to biological, biochemical and serological tests. Antibiogram pattern indicated the sensitivity of the isolates to 8 chemotherapeutic agents.
