Abstract

Deactivation Diffusion effects Kinetic models Reaction mechanism Selectivity
The analysis presented is devoted to kinetic problems connected with the joint effects of catalyst deactivation and mass transfer on the selectivity and optimal process design of catalytic processes following different reaction schemes. The relation between the process mechanism and the changes of selectivity with the drop of conversion is modelled for the presence and absence of intraparticle diffusion.
