Abstract
The paper contains a radiokinetic study on the appearance and growth of (Tl2CrO4)-Tl-204, (TlH2PO4)-Tl-204 and (TlIO3)-Tl-204 crystals in gelatin media. The constant values of the diffusion rate of the Tl-204(+) ions through gelatin and the global nucleation process were calculated. It was concluded that the constant values of the nucleation process rate vary-inversely proportional to the gelatin concentration. For the same concentration of the colloidal media, the rate of crystal appearance and growth in gelatin decreases to the following series: (TlH2PO4)-Tl-204 > (TlIO3)-Tl-204 > (Tl2CrO4)-Tl-204. The starting time for appearance of crystals was established too.
