Abstract
A family of uncountable infinite many asymptotically quasi-phi-nonexpansive mappings and an equilibrium problem are investigated. Strong convergence theorems of common solutions to fixed point and equilibrium problems are established in a strictly convex and uniformly smooth Banach space which also has the Kadec-Klee property.
