Abstract
In this study, a satisfactory value of R4 = E4/E2 for deformed nuclei using modified nuclear softness (MNS) model were obtained. The model was established using semi-classical treatment. Several parameters obtained using MNS model were found to be in good agreement with experimental measurements. Furthermore, a universal relationship between energy and spin which is believed to be effective for rotational bands was determined, in addition to reduced transition probability as function of deformation parameters and quadruple moment.
