Influence of homogeneous-heterogeneous reaction in magnetohydrodynamic (MHD) flow bounded by a linearly stretched surface is explored. Constitutive equations of upper convected Maxwell (UCM) fluid are used in the problem formulation. Both analytic and numerical solutions are constructed and compared. Plots for different emerging parameters are made and analyzed. It is noted that the results obtained by three methods are in good agreement.
