In this paper we define the sequence space V-sigma(infinity)(lambda) related to the concept of invariant mean and de la Vallee-Pousin mean. We also determine the necessary and sufficient conditions to characterize the matrices which transform paranormed sequence spaces into the spaces V sigma(lambda) and V-sigma(infinity)(lambda) where V sigma(lambda) denotes the space of all (sigma, lambda)-convergent sequences.
