Abstract
Cinnamoylthioureas and their complexes of the bivalent metal ions Cu(II), Ni(II), Pd(II) and Hg(II) have been synthesised and characterized. Probable structure for the complex compounds have been proposed on the basis of elemental analysis, conductometric, spectral and magnetic susceptibility data. The complexes showed antibacterial activity.
