In the title compound, C18H17NO5S, the thiazine ring adopts a half-chair conformation and the dihedral angle between the aromatic rings is 79.41 (6)degrees. An intramolecular O-H center dot center dot center dot O hydrogen bond generates an S(6) ring. In the crystal, molecules are linked by weak C-H center dot center dot center dot O interactions resulting in infinite sheets along the b and c axes.
