Abstract
Statistical features of cast iron, steel, brass, Al and Cu powders manufactured by vertical and horizontal atomization techniques are described. Little difference in structure was observed for the vertical and horizontal processes and all the structures were crystalline. The dendritic features were dependent on cooling rate.--R.E.(UK).
